WHO CAN PLAY?
Any boy or girl between the age of 4 – 19 is eligible to play in the WYBA.

WHAT LEAGUE WILL MY CHILD BE PLACED IN?

CAN WE PLAY ON THE SAME TEAM WITH A CLASSMATE OR FRIEND?
Possibly - although for Tee Ball and Instructional levels ONLY.  We do our best to honor requests that are made for a player, or maybe two, before April 1st.

WHAT IS AN EVALUATION?
An evaluation is a method by which the managers and coaches observe a player’s skills and are then able to determine their competitive level.  Evaluations are only required for some Instructional Orange players, and all of Minors and above - Tee Ball and Instructional Navy does not require evaluations.

IS AN EVALUATION MANDATORY?
Yes.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER EVALUATIONS?
Players will be selected to a team, and will be notified by their team manager about two weeks after the evaluation.  Any player that did not participate in an evaluation will be notified as soon as possible.

WHEN WILL I BE CONTACTED OF TEAM PLACEMENT?
The Majority of the league with the exception of Tee Ball is formed by the end of April. Your Manager will then contact you.

WHEN DOES THE SEASON START AND END?
Weather permitting we can expect to start practice in April and games beginning in May - ending  before July 4th

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO WE NEED?
All players must have their own fielding glove and baseball cleats.  Male players are required to wear a protective cup.   Helmets are provided but personal helmets are strongly suggested.  Bats and catcher's gear is available for use as needed.  Please make sure to review the official Little League Bat Rules for play - LINK

DO WE NEED OUR OWN UNIFORMS?
No, the WYBA will provide each player a team jersey and hat. It is HIGHLY recommended that each player have their own GREY baseball pants.
